Anoka County Votes 5-2 Against City/Township Autonomy for Elections

Commissioners Braastad (District 2), Schulte (District 4), Gamache (District 5), Jeppson (District 6), and Meisner (District 7) voted in favor of reaffirming that the unelected Anoka County Head Elections Official (Pamela LeBlanc) can mandate use of electronic poll pads (electronic rosters) without municipal approval. Only Commissioners Heinrich (District 1) and Reinert (District 3) voted no to support municipal autonomy.
